Our websites and your choices
Drattzy Games LLC is responsible for the personal information it handles through drattzy.com, drattzygames.com, alteriumshift.com and the community at hub.drattzy.com. We operate from Minnesota in the United States. This notice explains the different ways information is used when you visit, participate, ask for help or request a supporter benefit.
The information involved depends on what you choose to do. Browsing a studio article, maintaining a community account and subscribing to a newsletter are different activities. A feature described here applies only where we offer it.
Contact support@drattzygames.com with a question or request about personal information, your account or rewards.

Reading pages and opening optional content
Delivering a page requires the website infrastructure to process the connection and request. Technical information also helps investigate faults and protect the service. Account sessions and security controls use information needed to provide the requested function. Preference storage can remember choices such as appearance.
If you choose to remain signed in, the remembered community sign-in lasts no more than 30 days from its creation. Ordinary activity does not restart that period. Signing out or a security action can end it earlier. This authentication setting is separate from analytics or newsletter choices.
Third-party content can involve a separate connection to its provider. Where a video, support widget or other optional component has a load control or preference choice, that control explains the component before it is loaded. Choosing to open an external link takes you to a service with its own practices.
We are preparing optional Google Analytics 4 measurement of public page visits and selected interactions with store, demo, trailer, press-kit and community-entry links. It will start only after a separate affirmative analytics choice for the relevant service. An analytics selection made in a non-collecting preview will not authorize a later live analytics release.
When activated after your analytics choice, measurement can use a random browser identifier on the particular marketing website you visit. It is created only after current permission is verified, is limited to that website and expires no later than the original 90-day deadline of that choice. Ordinary visits do not extend that deadline. We do not link this identifier to a community account, share it with the hub or use an Analytics cross-domain linker to combine it with identifiers from our other website. Your browser connects to Google when measurement is enabled, so Google processes connection information including your IP address and browser or device details. This is separate from what our own consent record stores. Account names, email addresses, private account details, post content, search terms and raw discussion titles are outside our selected analytics events.
Declining analytics will leave it off. Cookie preference controls will allow a later change of mind; withdrawal will stop future optional measurement and clear applicable first-party analytics storage. Withdrawal does not by itself retrieve information already sent. You can ask us about that information through the privacy contact.
For our Google Analytics property, user-level and event-level detail subject to its retention control is set to two months, with renewal on new activity turned off. Google applies expiry through its scheduled deletion process. Standard aggregated reports are outside that retention control. These settings do not authorize measurement before your analytics choice.
We do not currently use this website analytics for advertising personalization or remarketing. Those uses would need a separate decision and applicable permissions; choosing ordinary analytics does not opt you into advertising.
The Drattzy and Alterium Shift marketing websites share a recognized analytics choice; the community hub has its own separate choice. To recognize the marketing choice, each marketing website uses its own host-only browser binding and we keep a limited consent record containing pseudonymous bindings, the current choice, purpose/version and relevant times. The active choice and record last for no more than 90 days after an explicit save. Ordinary visits do not renew them. Unpaired browser bindings can end sooner. Brief redirects and short-lived, single-use codes can be used to recognize the choice on the other marketing website. They do not join your accounts or authorize measurement by themselves.
Browser storage also supports the preference controls and a tab-only refusal safeguard while a refusal is being confirmed. This safeguard cannot grant permission; its original bounded deadline is not extended by ordinary reads. Physical removal from suspended or inaccessible browser storage may wait until the browser can run the controls again, but expired or unverifiable permission cannot authorize measurement.
Choices can differ between browsers or devices. Deleting, blocking or separating browser storage can prevent recognition of an earlier choice, so you may need to set it again in that context. If current permission cannot be verified on a page, optional measurement stays off there. An analytics link parameter is not evidence of consent. Embedded-media preferences, newsletter permission and account or Terms choices remain separate.
Creating an account and taking part
Registration and sign-in involve your email address, account identifier, authentication information and the information needed to verify or recover access. Public display information and optional profile details are used to present your account. Account preferences such as language, time zone and contact choices are private settings rather than public-profile fields.
Posts, replies, reactions and discussion subscriptions support participation. Public contributions and public-profile information are visible to other visitors. The forum also records revisions and editing details so that the history of a conversation can be understood. Restricted content and its history are available only to the audience permitted by the relevant access rules.
Moderators and support staff use relevant account, content and case information to respond to problems, apply community rules and review decisions. A moderator's private case record is distinct from the ordinary history of an edited post.
If you connect an external account, the enabled connection uses the identifiers and permissions needed for that function. It does not automatically combine accounts merely because their email addresses match. Disconnecting a provider ends that connection; it does not delete your separate account with the provider.
Our websites and community are intended for people aged 13 and above. Community accounts require a minimum age of 13. We ask for an unchecked eligibility declaration and record the confirmation time. That step does not collect a birth date or identity documents, and it is a self-declaration rather than verified age. This rule does not replace any additional protections that apply to children where they live. If you believe a child below the permitted age has provided account information, contact the privacy address so we can investigate and take the action required by applicable law.
Asking for help or claiming a benefit
A support request contains your contact details, the message and any information or attachments you choose to include. We use those details to investigate the request, respond and maintain the relevant support record. We use Help Scout for our support inbox. Please avoid sending passwords, complete payment details or unrelated sensitive information.
Support mail is also routed through Google Workspace, including our support-group archive and staff mailboxes. We include those Drattzy-controlled copies when handling the applicable support, account-closure or privacy request; deleting a Help Scout conversation alone does not remove every copy.
Supporter administration can involve an account or purchase identifier, evidence relevant to eligibility, a review outcome and the records needed to assign or deliver a benefit. We seek the information needed for the particular claim rather than treating every claimant as needing the same evidence.
Campaign services such as BackerKit can hold their own account and reward records. A link to such a service does not mean its records are automatically synchronized with our community. Earned rewards do not expire. Closing a community account does not erase an earned reward or an unfulfilled reward commitment. We retain the minimal record needed to prove and preserve earned entitlements, with no automatic age-based expiry, subject to applicable privacy and legal obligations.
Receiving messages
Newsletter participation is separate from community membership. Closing a community account does not create newsletter consent or restore a subscription you previously ended. Brevo handles the newsletter records and delivery for the choices you make. A signup, a pending confirmation and a confirmed subscription are different states. You can withdraw through the newsletter's unsubscribe facility or the supported preference control.
Brevo also processes our community service emails and optional email notifications. Its delivery records help us investigate delivery failures. We use available controls to reduce email-open and link tracking where that can be done for the relevant service; some provider tracking remains and may use an image or redirected link. An open or click is not proof of receipt, consent or acceptance of the Terms. Our Help Scout support inbox has outgoing open tracking turned off. Newsletter and campaign settings are separate.
Brevo transactional email logs are configured to expire after one calendar month, with up to 24 additional hours for its cleanup process. This provider schedule is separate from our 30-day application/server-log limit. The setting for new stored message previews is disabled. Other provider records, such as contact history, can still display message content; this setting does not turn off all content storage. Earlier applicable privacy-request deadlines still apply; provider recovery copies and messages in recipients' inboxes are separate from active delivery logs.
Following a discussion inside the forum does not subscribe you to a newsletter, email notifications or private Discord messages. Optional delivery channels require their own selection. Connecting an external account is not a subscription.
Messages needed to verify an account, recover access, respond to a request or administer a benefit are handled separately from optional marketing. After an opt-out, we will keep only the minimal information needed to match and honor that choice, its purpose and when you withdrew. We will retain it while that newsletter operates or retained lists or backups could restore the old subscription. When both purposes end, we will remove it unless a specific documented legal obligation requires retention. There is no fixed expiry while it is still needed for those purposes. A new explicit, verified newsletter signup can supersede your local preference, but will not automatically clear suppression held by the provider. Creating an account, matching an email address or restoring a backup will not create consent. This record will not retain your former forum profile, login or messages. Suppression is not permission to send more marketing.
Who can receive information
Other visitors receive the information you make public in the community. Consider that a public post can also be copied or indexed outside our service. A later change on our site cannot guarantee removal of every independent copy, but it does not remove our responsibility to handle applicable requests.
Staff and providers receive access appropriate to the function they perform, such as hosting, account operation, support, message delivery, recovery or an enabled account connection. Provider handling on our behalf must stay within that assigned purpose. External services you choose to use can also act under their own policies.
We do not sell, rent or exchange customer or member contact lists or other personal information for another business’s own marketing. Using a provider to send our own communications is a separate activity described in this notice.
Information may need to be disclosed when a specific legal obligation requires it. We assess the request and limit the disclosure to what is justified. We do not treat the permission to display a community contribution as permission to use personal information for unrelated purposes.
When an account closes
Private profile and login information will be removed from active systems within 30 days from the original receipt of an account-closure request, or sooner when an earlier applicable deadline requires it. Proportionate ownership checks and staff review do not restart that clock. A specific documented legal obligation may require a particular record to be retained. The response clock for a statutory privacy request is determined by the applicable law.
Personal records of your 13+ eligibility declaration and acceptance of the Terms will also be removed from active systems with your account within that same 30-day period, or sooner where law requires. Only a specific record required by a documented legal obligation may be kept beyond that period. This does not remove public historical versions of the Terms or the separate minimal records that preserve earned rewards.
After closure is completed, we will keep a minimal staff-only receipt for 12 months from completion. It will contain only the case, former-account and responsible-staff references, dates and outcomes, without your name, email address or message content. We will then delete it unless a specific documented legal obligation requires a particular record to be kept. This separate receipt does not extend the removal deadline for private account information.
An exception is limited to information necessary for a specific legal obligation or to prove and preserve earned rewards, including unfulfilled commitments. That retained information is used only for the relevant obligation or reward. The minimal earned-reward record has no automatic age-based expiry and is not deleted merely because the community account closes; this does not permit keeping unrelated profile or login information. Applicable privacy and legal obligations still apply. Account access and notifications from the closed community account will be stopped promptly when closure is processed.
If you separately opted into a newsletter, closing your community account will leave that subscription active unless you unsubscribe. The closure screen will explain this clearly and offer an unsubscribe option. You can also unsubscribe through the newsletter after your community account closes.
For a separately active newsletter subscription, we keep only the contact details, preferences and evidence needed to manage that subscription. Those purpose-limited newsletter records are separate from the closed community account. They do not extend the 30-day removal target for private profile and login information or justify keeping unnecessary account data. Withdrawal, suppression and applicable privacy requests continue to apply.
The active-system account target does not mean every public contribution disappears or every backup is erased immediately. Those records are handled separately:
- Useful public conversations can remain with the former member shown as “Deleted user”. We will review that retention annually and whenever removal is requested. Identifying content will be removed or redacted where needed, including when applicable rights require earlier action. A different author label alone does not make the text anonymous.
- Earlier post versions have no automatic age-based expiry. They are retained by default for historical context, with no member-selectable expiry setting. Privacy, safety or legal requirements can still require targeted removal or redaction. Account closure, removal requests and appropriate periodic necessity reviews include the relevant history.
- Detailed moderation and appeal case records will be kept for 12 months after the case closes. Only a minimal record of an active ban or restriction can remain for as long as needed for that restriction. We will review the retained ban or restriction information annually to confirm that it is still necessary and remove information no longer needed. This review does not automatically lift an active ban or restriction or extend the retention of the closed case's detailed material.
- Recovery copies we create and control expire within 90 days of creation. Our service providers can have separate recovery and deletion schedules. For Google Workspace, its processing terms allow up to 180 days after a deletion instruction takes effect when the data is no longer recoverable by us, subject to the terms' legal exceptions. We complete the deletion actions available to us within the applicable request deadlines and keep deleted data out of normal use. If we restore data, we apply required deletions and newsletter opt-outs before using it again.
Continued retention must remain necessary and lawful. Public discussions, history and case records do not create a blanket exception for keeping private account data.
Other records and privacy requests
Ordinary support tickets will be retained for 24 months after resolution. Unnecessary sensitive attachments will be removed within 30 days of resolution or sooner.
We will delete correspondence about account closure or a privacy request, including emails, support messages and attachments, within 30 days after the request is explicitly resolved. This also applies when a cancelled, declined or unverified request has been explicitly resolved. An earlier applicable deletion deadline takes priority, and a specific documented legal obligation may require a particular record to be kept. We will retain only the separately described minimal receipts and necessary recovery or opt-out records for their approved purposes. Keeping a request unresolved will not extend the deadline for removing private account information. This correspondence rule is separate from the 24-month period for ordinary support tickets.
Receipts and screenshots submitted to establish supporter eligibility will be deleted 90 days after the eligibility decision or, if there is a related appeal, 90 days after that appeal is resolved. We will keep the minimal eligibility outcome and reward record needed to prove and preserve your earned benefits, with no automatic age-based expiry. The 90-day limit applies to the submitted receipts and screenshots, not to earned rewards or their minimal preservation record.
Entitlement records, message preferences, technical logs and proof of choices serve different purposes. Their retention is assessed for that purpose and any applicable obligation. The specific account-closure rule above applies to personal eligibility declarations and Terms-acceptance records. Information that is no longer needed is removed or genuinely anonymized. A pseudonym or hashed identifier can still be personal information.
Routine application and server access and error logs are kept in active systems for no more than 30 days, with earlier rotation or deletion allowed. Evidence necessary for a specific security incident is restricted to staff handling it, reviewed for continuing necessity every 90 days while the case is open, and deleted within 12 months after the case first closes. Unnecessary details go sooner. An earlier applicable privacy or deletion deadline takes priority; a specific documented legal obligation needs its own justification. This does not authorize retaining entire log archives.
Minimal evidence of newsletter permission is kept while that permission is active and for up to 12 months after it ends, with unnecessary details removed earlier. This is separate from the minimal opt-out record needed to prevent a withdrawn subscription being restored.
Minimal records of Terms-update notices identify the version, notification timing and outcome. They are kept while those Terms are upcoming or current and for up to 12 months after replacement or withdrawal. A closed account's earlier deletion deadline still applies. Public historical Terms text is preserved separately.
Established accounts are preserved regardless of inactivity. Genuinely new, unverified registrations left unfinished after 30 days receive staff review. Removal requires confirming abandonment and no content, rewards, linked platforms, migration history or other legitimate use. Uncertain accounts stay unchanged. An unconfirmed email address alone never qualifies an existing or migrated member for deletion.
Depending on the law that applies, you may be entitled to access or correct information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain uses, receive portable information, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision about a request. You may also have a right to complain to a privacy regulator. Those rights can have conditions and exceptions.
Send the request to support@drattzygames.com and describe what you want us to review. We may need proportionate evidence of identity or account control to avoid giving information to the wrong person. Do not send identity documents unless they are needed and requested through an appropriate process. We will explain the outcome and any applicable exception, response deadline, extension or appeal route.
Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal. It does stop future processing that depends on that consent, subject to the scope of the withdrawal.
Protecting information and updating this notice
Security measures must be appropriate to the information and the service. Access controls, recovery procedures and incident handling are part of that work. No online service can promise that a security incident is impossible. If an incident creates a notification duty, we will follow the applicable requirements.
We will update this notice when the services or information practices change. An updated notice will identify its date and describe material changes. Publishing a new notice is not a substitute for obtaining permission when a new use requires it.
