At Drattzy Games, we want to be clear about where AI fits into our work. We use it as a tool to support development, with our team staying hands-on, reviewing the results, and taking responsibility for what we release.
How we use AI
AI helps us with coding, debugging, research, and QA/testing. We also use it when building websites, working with code samples and templates, and exploring site layouts and styling. Our marketing copy starts with existing materials and may be refined with AI assistance and human editing.
We sometimes generate early visual ideas to help communicate a direction to an artist. These are references only. The artist creates the final work independently; we don’t paint over, modify, or reuse those generated images as in-game assets.
Creative work in our games
Our policy is to keep AI-generated creative assets out of our games, including Alterium Shift. That covers artwork, pixel art, 3D assets, story, dialogue, music, sound effects, and voices.
We create work within our team, commission and pay artists and other creators, and use licensed asset packs. For in-game localization, we use or plan to engage paid human localization services rather than machine translation. This describes our games, not every translation used on our websites or community hub.
We make a good-faith effort to check that purchased and commissioned assets meet these standards, to the best of our ability. We can’t claim complete visibility into every third-party creator’s process.
If we learn that an asset doesn’t meet this policy, we’ll review the situation and take appropriate action.
Our website and marketing
The artwork and images on our website come from human-created art and assets. AI assistance with the site’s code, styling, or marketing copy is part of our workflow, so we don’t describe everything we produce as 'AI-free.'
Our websites and community hub may use stored translations of our interface and published information. Routine public News and general Help content may be translated automatically after our checks, with a machine-translation label and an option to read the English source. Interface and account-security wording, Terms and Privacy translations require review before release. Member posts, private account information and support messages are outside this public-content translation process. Website language availability does not mean the released game supports that language.
This reflects our current studio policy and the approach we intend to maintain: practical assistance with development, clear human responsibility, and human-created art and storytelling.
